Warm-up to Hamlet

Fire breathers, sword swallowers and belly dancers are only a part of the troupe that entertain audiences prior to Hamlet in Forest Park.  The “green show” also includes jugglers, a string quartet, other musicians, dancers and comedians. Even a twenty minute version of the the greatest play in the western canon of dramatic literature is presented as a warm-up to the main event. Free Shakespeare in Forest Park is presented by Shakespeare Festival St. Louis.
