The impetus for this blog came from a 2009 St. Louis Artists’ Guild workshop I led called Sketching St. Louis as inspired by the work and credo of Urban Sketchers.com. We visited some of my favorite drawing locations around the city with our Moleskines sketchbooks, ink pens and watercolors to draw St. Louis “one sketch at a time.” In my opinion the city’s architecture, people and urban landscapes are definitely sketchworthy. -Michael Anderson
